I have just finished a new project that I am very excited about titled Longhorn Stampede. One of my favorite artist is Roberta Wesley. I often draw inspiration from her works. She has done a painting called “Day of the Horns” that I am very fond of, and this work inspired me to do a piece that I call Longhorn Stampede. In Roberta’s painting, the thing that draws me to it the most is the fact that the longhorn cattle seem to be running right towards you. To view Roberta Wesley’s work you can visit http://www.wesleyprints.com/index.html
I too wanted to create this illusion in my piece by layering the longhorns so that the very front longhorn is raised out of the picture the farthest and then each longhorn in the back ground is further and further back to created a 3D effect. I did this by starting with the center…

Sanskrit Vedic Chants and the Secret World of Human DNA – Wave Genetics of Biological Internet causing Hyper Communication
Please click on link http:// newearthdaily.com Thanks to Gurudev.
Very interesting article to read. It opens up a whole new world to us. Veraiconica
All these days, modern science had concentrated its research on individual genes of the DNA and was simply removing and mixing genes of one species into the other creating genetically modified species and crops which also resulted in side effects and disharmonies in the modified species. It was much similar to some of the so called software engineers googling and copy pasting software code – without trying to understand what the code actually meant or did. Genetic engineers similarly were used to searching inside the DNA to find genes with specific functionality and simply copy paste them in other species without really understanding the overall impact of these…

God took the fragrance of a flower…
The majesty of a tree…
The gentleness of morning dew…
The calm of a quiet sea…
The beauty of the twilight hour…
The soul of a starry night…
The laughter of a rippling brook…
The grace of a bird in flight…
Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other,
And when his masterpiece was through
He called it simply – Mother.
The Rose Lyrics, a song made popular by Bette Midler
Some say love, it is a river
That drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger
An endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower
And you, its only seed
It’s the heart, afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance
It’s the dream, afraid of waking
That never takes the chance
It’s the one who won’t be taken
Who cannot seem to give
And the soul, afraid of dying
That never learns to live
When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snow

There is a language.
A wordless – perfect understanding.
The inner makings that form pure joy.
The hallelujah – heart filled glory of achievement.
Through struggle, loss, redemption and back again.
You know when you’ve been there.
When relief comes in like a flood.
And wonder brings tears to your eyes.
A second chance.
And no words can do it justice.
Silent praise for when good comes through.
Soul stirring awe, when dreams are rescued.
